Identity
Fatih (“The Conqueror”) is a Middle Eastern-inspired fighter exclusive to the International server, serving as the localized version of Cao Cao from the Chinese server. Born Hakan, a prince of Asitane who was exiled during a power struggle, he eventually reclaimed his throne through wit and bravery, fulfilling an ancient prophecy. His visual design features ornate Middle Eastern armor with a crown and flowing cape, and his kit emphasizes sustained combat through enhanced basic attacks and strong lifesteal.
Playstyle
- Strengths: Extremely high sustain in prolonged fights, enhanced basic attacks after every skill use, self-purge on ultimate removes all crowd control, flexible lane assignment (clash or jungle), excellent dueling and split-pushing
- Weaknesses: Vulnerable to anti-heal effects, requires items to become effective, struggles against heavy poke and kiting, ultimate has long cooldown
- Best for players who: Enjoy fighter heroes with sustain, want flexibility in lane/jungle choice, like the “unkillable” playstyle where you outlast enemies
Skills
Passive: Only the Strong
Whenever Fatih uses a skill, his next basic attack becomes enhanced, unleashing sword energy that deals additional damage and restores health. Enhanced basic attacks have increased attack speed and range. Stacks up to 5 times—at 5 stacks, the next enhanced attack deals 100% bonus damage. While using Sacred Tree Blessing (ultimate), enhanced attacks unleash an extra blast of sword energy.
Tip: Every skill usage triggers an enhanced attack. Master the rhythm of Skill → Basic Attack to maximize damage and healing. Don’t waste enhanced attacks on minions during fights.
Skill 1: The King’s Blade
Fatih dashes forward to deal physical damage. Using this skill a third time within a short window launches the enemy into the air (knockup). This is your primary mobility and damage tool.
Tip: The third-hit knockup has a short window. For maximum combo damage, use Basic Attack between each skill activation to trigger your passive. The knockup also serves as a solid engage tool.
Skill 2: The King’s Return
Fatih unleashes sword energy in a target direction, dealing physical damage and slowing enemies by 50% for 2 seconds. If this skill hits a hero, Fatih recovers health (1% of max HP per hit, reduced to 0.5% for minions). While the ultimate is active, this skill unleashes an additional blast of sword energy.
Tip: Use this to poke from range and sustain in lane. The heal is significant—land it on heroes to stay healthy during extended trades. The slow helps you stick to enemies for enhanced attack follow-ups.
Ultimate: Sacred Tree Blessing
Fatih removes all crowd control effects on himself, deals physical damage to nearby enemies, and gains bonus max HP (scaling with number of enemies hit, up to 400+). While active, Skill 2 and enhanced basic attacks are enhanced, and Fatih gains 10% extra resistance. Tap again to end early and deliver a finishing blow.
Tip: This is your “I win this fight” button. Pop it when heavily CC’d to instantly cleanse and turn the fight. The HP boost is massive—use it to bait enemies into overcommitting, then destroy them. Don’t be afraid to end it early to secure kills.
Best Build (Patch Season 14)

- Boots of Tranquility — Cooldown reduction + movement speed
- Axe of Torment — Physical pierce + cooldown reduction

Counters
Strong against:
- Daji: Can sustain through her burst and outlast in extended fights
- Liu Bang: Superior sustain and dueling capability
- Guan Yu: Can match his fighting and out-sustain
Weak against:
- Prince of Lanling: Burst damage can eliminate Fatih before his sustain kicks in
- Mozi: Strong CC chain locks Fatih down despite ultimate
- Marco Polo: Range advantage and burst can whittle down Fatih before he can engage
Pro Tips
-
Skill-spam trading: The key to Fatih is using every skill, then immediately basic attacking. This triggers enhanced attacks constantly. In lane, Skill 1 → Basic Attack → Skill 2 → Basic Attack is your core trade pattern.
-
Ultimate timing: Save your ultimate for when you’re about to be caught or CC’d. The self-purge is one of the strongest abilities in the game—using it too early wastes its potential. The HP boost is enormous in team fights.
-
Stack management: The passive stacks to 5. When at 5, your next enhanced attack deals double damage. Try to maintain stacks before committing to a fight, then unleash the 5-stack attack for massive burst.
-
Flexibility matters: Fatih works in both Clash Lane and Jungle. In Jungle, focus on ganking with your mobility. In Lane, play safe early and outscale. Build accordingly—more damage for jungle, more tank for lane.
-
Anti-heal awareness: Enemies building anti-heal (e.g., Venomous Staff, Mortal Punisher) significantly reduces your sustain. If they do, play more conservatively or build more defensively.
FAQ
Is Fatih good in Season 14? Fatih is a solid A-tier pick with a 43.42% win rate but high pick rate (1.21%) and ban rate (3.22%). He’s particularly strong in coordinated play and was a top pick at KWC 2025 (69.61% P+B). His sustain makes him a reliable frontline for teams.
What’s the best build for Fatih? For Clash Lane: Boots of Tranquility, Axe of Torment, Frostscar’s Embrace, Cuirass of Savagery, Eye of the Phoenix, Sky Dome. For Jungle: Giant’s Grip, Boots of Resistance, Axe of Torment, Frostscar’s Embrace, Eye of the Phoenix, Twilight Stream.
Who counters Fatih? Heroes with strong burst (Prince of Lanling), heavy CC chains (Mozi), or ranged poke (Marco Polo) that can force Fatih to engage on unfavorable terms. Anti-heal items also dramatically reduce his effectiveness.
Is Fatih easy to learn? Harder than average. While his basic pattern (Skill → Basic Attack) is simple, maximizing his potential requires understanding stack management, ultimate timing, and proper positioning. He’s forgiving once ahead but can feel weak if behind.
Can Fatih solo carry? Moderately. Fatih scales well and can 1v1 most heroes, but he’s not an assassin. He excels at split-pushing and drawing enemy attention, then either winning the 1v1 or forcing rotations. He needs some team support to secure objectives.
